Fluridone Milfoil Treatment
The Fluridone treatment is happening on Friday morning, June 2, 2023. We will be sampling water, and the treatment will be repeated as necessary to keep the concentration at the needed level to maintain efficacy. This treatment will take longer to kill off the milfoil so we need to be patient this summer. The major benefit is that it should take care of the milfoil over most of the lake for the coming few years. There is milfoil growth in new areas this year so it's good we are going after the entire lake.
There are NO restrictions (irrigation, swimming,...) from this treatment due to the low concentration being used.
